Boat Docking on Public Lands

With the assistance of a volunteer Docking Sub-Committee, MLAC manages the seasonal access to the docks that are situated on the environmental reserve near the beach and the dock adjacent to the north boat launch. The marina is currently a mixture of docks owned by the RM of Bjorkdale and docks that are privately owned, (called Co-Op docks) that pre-date the creation of MLAC. Fees for the use of all docks are set annually by MLAC. Slips on these docks are currently all spoken for but we maintain a wait list and use a prioritized process for assigning the slips.

In previous years a number of spots were made available for daily docking, however these no longer exist and the marina is fully occupied with seasonal and co-op docks. Other boats will need to trailered in/out of the lake on a daily basis.
